Starting from Zanzibar, you board a light aircraft and fly directly into the Serengeti. Two days of game drives in Africa’s most famous park follow , big cats, elephant, buffalo, and vast herds of plains game moving through landscapes of extraordinary beauty. Then comes a half-day descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, where the Big Five wait inside a natural enclosure so spectacular it almost feels unreal.
Afterwards, a short flight returns you to Zanzibar. White sand beaches, warm turquoise water, and the gentle Indian Ocean breeze are there to wash away every trace of dust from the bush.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar, Fly to Serengeti
Board your morning light aircraft flight from Zanzibar and trade turquoise waters for the golden plains of the Serengeti. It is an extraordinary transition , one that never loses its magic. Arrive at your luxury tented camp for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive with big cats, elephant, and vast herds of plains game welcoming you to the wild.
Day 2: Full Day Serengeti Game Drives
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti in full , morning and afternoon game drives with the noon hours spent at camp. The Serengeti in peak season is extraordinary, but even in quieter months the resident lion prides, leopard, elephant, and giraffe populations mean you are never short of wildlife. An evening around the campfire under a star-packed sky is as good as it gets.
Day 3: Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater – Depart for Zanzibar
A final morning game drive before driving to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day descent. The crater’s resident wildlife , including one of Africa’s last viable black rhino populations , provides a dramatic finale to your safari. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip or drive to Arusha airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
Day 4: Zanzibar, Beach Relaxation
Today is yours to do absolutely nothing , or everything. Stretch out on the white sand beaches of Zanzibar’s east or north coast, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, snorkel over coral reefs, or simply sit with a cocktail and watch the dhows sail past. You’ve earned it.
Day 5: Zanzibar, Departure
A final leisurely morning in paradise before your transfer to Zanzibar International Airport. Consider a morning spice tour or a walk through Stone Town’s UNESCO-listed old quarter before you go.
