Time for two dedicated migration-tracking days in the central Serengeti, watching your guide build a real-time picture of where the herds move and how the predators respond. Time to reach the northern Mara River zone, wait with quiet anticipation, and witness the crossings that define the migration’s popular image.
Beyond the migration, Tarangire opens the journey with its signature elephant herds and dramatic baobab landscapes. Additionally, the Ngorongoro Crater adds a different dimension , dense, enclosed, and extraordinary in a way that surprises even experienced safari visitors.

Day-by-Day Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha. Transfer to your hotel, evening briefing with your guide.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Full day in Tarangire among massive elephant herds, lions, and baobab landscapes. One of Tanzania’s most underrated parks and a spectacular safari start.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Crater Rim
Transfer to Ngorongoro and enjoy the highland landscapes, Maasai cultural encounters, and spectacular views from the crater rim.
Day 4: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater
A full day descending into the crater, exploring its incredible wildlife at a relaxed pace. Black rhino, lion, flamingo, hippo , all within the world’s most famous caldera.
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Central Serengeti
Transfer to the Central Serengeti. Afternoon game drives in the Seronera Valley. The migration herds begin to appear on the horizon.
Day 6: Full Day Central Serengeti – Migration Tracking
Dedicated migration tracking day with your expert guide. Witness hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra moving across the plains with predators in close attendance.
Day 7: Central Serengeti – Predator Focus
The central zone is legendary for its lion prides, cheetah families, and elusive leopards on rocky kopjes. Today is for deep predator tracking.
Day 8: Northern Serengeti – Mara River
Transfer north to the Mara River zone for the famous wildebeest crossings (July–October) and expansive Northern Serengeti plains. Remote, wild, and spectacular.
Day 9: Morning Game Drive – Return to Arusha
Final morning drive before transferring to Arusha. Nine days of Tanzania wildlife , an experience that genuinely changes how you see the world.
